Pioneer rack-and-pinion height adjuster

The rack and pinion height adjuster for the TSPROF Pioneer sharpening system significantly increases its capabilities: it allows quick and precise angle setting, and raising the angle during sharpening for micro bevels.

Bundle: Height Adjuster + Ext. Rod + Ext. Clamping Arm

This bundle includes the Pioneer height adjuster, the 6 mm extended guide rod and the 190 mm extended clamping arm. Use them together to get the most out of your Pioneer knife sharpener.

Smooth angle setting with small increments & new possibilities

Pioneer hieght adjuster upgrade makes angle setting a breeze. Now you can change the angle using just one hand and in 3 steps: unlock the lever, turn the knob, lock the lever. 

The body and slider of the rack and pinion height adjuster are made of aircraft aluminum, the toothed rack is made of steel, the involute gear wheel and sliding bushings are made of brass.

The height adjuster adds functionality to Pioneer and extends the range of possible sharpening angles (12°-33°).

Longer Rod & Longer Arm = Sharpen Longer & Wider Blades

The rod is made of chrome-plated steel and has an increased length (325 mm) compared to the standard rod (225 mm). The extended clamping arm length is 190 mm, which is 50 mm longer than the standard one. 

The rod and clamping arm increase possibilities for sharpening knives with long and wide blades, including hunting, skinning, kitchen and chopping knives. 

Extended arm also increases the travel space for clamps by 25 mm, and reaches 60 mm per each side from the center.

In addition, it is a must-have if you are using longer Kadet or K03 clamps with your Pioneer, because it increases the abrasive stroke length.
