TSPROF Carbon Guide Rod, assembled, matte
Features:
Features:
The carbon guide rod for the abrasive holder is significantly lighter than a steel one, reducing hand fatigue during sharpening. One end of the rod features a threaded insert for installing the ball handle.
The smooth carbon shaft provides minimal friction and exceptionally smooth movement, improving sharpening precision. After the shaft and pivot assembly bushing naturally mate to each other during use, you will no longer be distracted by unwanted noise during operation. The only sound you will hear is the abrasive grains removing metal.
The two sections of the rod are connected by a black matte anodized aluminum coupling, which ensures secure fixation through cylindrical clamping bushings with internal holes. The rod ends are inserted into the side openings of the coupling body. Positioning is controlled through an opening on the underside of the coupling. As the nuts are tightened, the clamping bushings shift upward and lock the rod ends in place through offset hole alignment. This fastening method provides reliable fixation and complete stability during operation.
The matte black anodizing increases the service life of the aluminum components by creating a wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant surface layer. The process provides a deep color and a pleasant tactile texture. The coating does not fade over time and protects the metal from aggressive environmental exposure. As a result, you get not only a stylish and refined appearance, but also a practical surface that requires minimal maintenance.
The carbon guide rod is not designed for mounting accessories with screw fixation. Attaching holders, stroke limiters, parking accessories, or coupling sleeves with screws will cause irreversible damage to the surface of the product.
