Specifications

For ceramic honing rods, minor deviations from flatness over lengths exceeding 10 cm are considered normal due to uneven shrinkage of the ceramic during cooling. These variations do not affect honing performance, as angle changes caused by slight surface irregularities are negligible compared to natural hand movement during use. Acceptable deviations may be up to 2 mm over 100 mm. Minor spots or streaks may also be present and do not affect honing quality.
