Arkansas Soft Sharpening Stone (600-700 JIS)

Arkansas natural abrasive stones are some of the best natural sharpening stones. They are mined in the mountains of Arkansas, the USA.

The stone is supplied without a mounting blank!

Arkansas soft — is the most popular of the four types of Arkansas stones and is the coarsest stone. This coarse stone is used for the main sharpening stage, to put an angle on the blade and provides a good level of sharpness.

This is a must-have stone for sharpening knives and can be used in conjunction with other Arkansas types or alone.

Recomendations: Natural Arkansas Stones do not require soaking in water. We recommend to use oil.
