Arkansas natural abrasive stones are one of the best natural sharpening stones. They are mined in the mountains of Arkansas, the USA.
This bundle includes an aluminum backing plate!
An aluminum backing plate with bevels is suitable for natural and synthetic stones, leather, or sandpaper.
The backing plate has a special 3M adhesive layer. This adhesive material uses elastic acrylic polymers with closed cells as a base. It provides a quick adhesion while having exceptional bonding strength.
Arkansas Hard – is a natural sharpening stone. It belongs to microquartzite (novaculite) rocks. It works well on most steels. It has high grain size uniformity and provides a clean finishing. Suitable for pre-finishing and finishing sharpening stages.

Recommendations: Natural Arkansas Hard Stones do not require soaking in water. We recommend to use oil.
