KADET GE comes with the new upgraded hinge unit - Glide. ItĀ providesĀ smooth running of the guide rodĀ without jamming or friction. The brass bushing ensures smooth operation and eliminates backlash when sliding.
To park the rod with the Glide unit,Ā you just have to place the rod in theĀ parkingĀ position, and it willĀ stay in placeĀ due to theĀ frictional forceĀ of its own weight.

TheĀ whole-milled universal clampsĀ allow you to sharpen compact folding and solid hunting knives.
TheĀ knife flipping mechanismĀ keeps the same sharpening angle on both sides of the knife. After turning, the lever locks the clamping frame in place.
TheĀ angle setting unitĀ allows smooth adjustmentĀ of theĀ sharpening angleĀ in the rangeĀ from 9Ā° to 28Ā°,Ā thanks to the rack-and-pinion gear. It slides on the whole-milled arched rack. When you turn the height-adjusting knob, the body moves around the virtual center where the knife's cutting edge is.
TheĀ convenient folding mechanismĀ allows you to disassemble the Kadet, and its weight of just 2.1 kg (4.7 lbs) makes it both stable during sharpening and easy to carry in a case or even a backpack, enabling you to take precision sharpening wherever you go.

Kadet Pro sharpening kitĀ includes 5 diamond platesĀ of various grit, from Extra Coarse to finishing (Very Fine). These plates do not require breaking in, soaking in water, or the use of oil.
