Kadet Pro Quick Edition comes with a set of red Quick clamps.
Quick clamps are a brand new type of whole-milled clamps that include a quick-release mechanism. They open up a new level of sharpening convenience: knife clamping takes just one movement and no longer requires a screwdriver. It is a perfect solution for chefs and mass knife sharpening.
Whole-milled clamps are made from high-strength anodized 7075 T6 aircraft aluminum. Their full metal design enhances resistance to abrasive pressure and maintains consistent sharpening angles throughout all stages, from roughing to finishing.They require no calibration for different blade types and accommodate various knives: utility, fixed, folding, pocket, kitchen, hunting, and other knives.

Thewhole-milled universal clampsallow you to sharpen compact folding and solid hunting knives.
Theknife flipping mechanismkeeps the same sharpening angle on both sides of the knife. After turning, the lever locks the clamping frame in place.
Theangle setting unitallows smooth adjustmentof the sharpening angle in the range from 9° to 28°, thanks to the rack-and-pinion gear. It slides on the whole-milled arched rack. When you turn the height-adjusting knob, the body moves around the virtual center where the knife's cutting edge is.
Theconvenient folding mechanismallows you to disassemble the Kadet, and its weight of just 2.1 kg (4.7 lbs) makes it both stable during sharpening and easy to carry in a case or even a backpack, enabling you to take precision sharpening wherever you go.

Kadet Pro sharpening kit includes 5 diamond plates of various grit, from Extra Coarse to finishing (Very Fine). These plates do not require breaking in, soaking in water, or the use of oil.
Includes the following grit range: — F150 Extra Coarsediamond plate - for profiling the edge and shaping the blade. — F220 Coarsediamond plate - next step in blade shaping, still pretty coarse. — F400 Medium diamond plate - for main sharpening stage and making a biting edge. — F600 Fine diamond plate - for pre-finishing the edge and removing scratches. — F1000 Very Finediamond plate - for finishing the edge.
